Plumbing & Heating Pipes
With efficient energy delivery, district heating and cooling systems enable a centralized production of thermal energy for single developments to citywide netw
For a safe and reliable setup, choose from our broad range of complete systems with pre-insulated single, double and quadruple cross-linked polyethylene pipes (for both heating and hot water). All pipes comprise an oxygen-diffusion barrier for optimized durability.
To limit any heat loss or frost for underground distribution networks (for heating as well as cooling), the multilayer thermal insulation of our pipes is made from cross-linked microcellular polyethylene (PEX) foam with a water repellent closed cell structure.
Qual-Pex Plus+ 'Easy-Lay" ECO DUO has been designed to simplify and speed up installation by utilising standard Irish size fittings and pipe and to greatly enhance energy conservation. Two pre-insulated, 1” Qual-PEX Plus+ 'Easy-Lay' pipes encapsulated in 125mm of high performance insulation protected within a corrugated PE-HD twin wall outer casing for maximum protection.
The insulation of Qual-PEX Plus+ ‘Easy-Lay’ ECO Duo Pipe consists of micro-cellular cross-linked polyethylene foam with a closed cellular structure, permitting low water vapour diffusion with good insulation resistance to extreme temperatures. Moreover, Qual-PEX Plus+ ‘Easy-Lay’ ECO Duo Pipe maintains these high insulation properties over time. This is due to the superior characteristics of the cross linked PE foam, compared to other insulation materials (e.g. PUR foam) which show a decline in their insulation capabilities over time. Its unique moving layers design allows maximum flexibility and very easy installation.
These products deliver industrial leading thermal insulation properties using Ireland's leading plumbing and heating pipe.
